When I first envisioned this knit dress, I imagined it in a thick crochet knit (see CAD in third slide.) But my first fabric choice didn't work out. At the time, I was disappointed, but looking back, I'm grateful it didn't. The final fabric is a soft
I designed this dress with a smocked panel at the back. The rows of elastic stitching provide a nice stretch and ease of fit. The smocking detail is carried through at the sleeve hem which gathers to create a ruffle trim. Shop: SHEIN sw221202273321
